1976 Buichi Terasawa comes to Tokyo and begins working under the tutelage of the famous comics artist, Osamu Tezuka.
1977 Going independent, a new comic series called "COBRA", drawn by Buichi Terasawa appears in Shueisha's weekly comic book for boys,"Jump".

The story of COBRA, a space pirate working for good who cruises the Universe and is the main character in this hard-boiled science fiction, a cyber character. The story has an ingenious plot that has made it a best-selling hit mainly among teenage boys that continued for seven years and continues to attract fans.
1982 Produces and brings to the screen, a movie version of COBRA. An animated version for TV "SPACE COBRA" is broadcast.
1985 The first installment of "BAT", the first comic book series produced using color computer graphics, appears in Weekly Jump.
Using a computer system he developed himself, Terasawa proceeds to create technically advanced works and to attract the attention of the computer graphics industry.
1987 Terasawa Productions established. Buichi Terasawa becomes representative director.
1989 A PC CD-ROM format work, "COBRA and The Legend of The Black Dragon King" is published by Hudson, has become the forerunner of "digital manga".
In 1991, an additional software work, "COBRA 2, A Man of Legend" is released.
1992 The first installment of "TAKERU", world's first computer graphics comics series, appears in "Scholar's Comic-Burger!" magazine.
The techniques used are featured in "Macintosh Electronic Brain Comics Techniques" (published by Scholar). In 1993, this series is published as a separate volume.
1994 Participates in "CD-ROM MAC Manga Exhibition" with 30 of the best-known comic artists and authors, including Monkey Punch participating.
A 3DO (3-dimensional object) version of TAKERU ("Fun Project") goes on sale.
1995 First volume of full-color book versions of "COBRA", "COBRA-THE PSYCHOGUN", is released. Second volumes follow in November.
Later, additional volumes are added to the series. As of November of 1998, nine volumes are on sale.

Buichi Terasawa is made honorary citizen of the City of Dulbuit, Belgium.
1996 First installment of new COBRA Series entitled "GALAXY NIGHTS" published in Shueisha's Super Jump.

Online-comics color version of BAT published on SOFTBANK home page INTERNET LABO.

1997 Exhibition: "Japanese Culture Viewed Through The Works of Comics Artist Buichi Terasawa and Multimedia" opens in Hong Kong.
"COBRA GIRLS" and "COBRA WONDER" (Collections of illustrations in book form) go on sale.

PC version of "Black Knight BAT" (SoftBank) released. Same title released in CD form (Nihon Columbia).
1998 Official home page, manga magic museum, undergoes renewal.

Sony PlayStation software "Space Adventure COBRA-THE PSYCHOGUN", Vol. 1 and Vol. 2" released simultaneously.

COBRA original goods (T-shirts, shirts, zippo, Psychogun, etc.) go on sale from Cospa Ltd.

Production of image poster "A Century of Dreams: Computer Graphics Grand Prix) created for 100th Anniversary of Establishment of Aizu-Wakamatsu City (Fukushima Pref.)

"Space Adventure COBRA" published in French (DYNAMIC VISION).

"COBRA" Woodblock Prints, Limited Edition (7 illustrations, 175 sets) goes on sale from Sekai Bungei Sha, Ltd.

Terasawa Productions participates in October ? December "The Age of Comics Exhibition" (Tokyo Modern Art Museum)

6 pieces of BitCash (Original Design by Buichi Terasawa) goes on sale.

All-color Computer Graphics Comic Series "TAKERU SPECIAL EDITION" (NTT Publishing) goes on sale.
1999 January : SONY PlayStation software, "Space Adventure COBRA GALAXY NIGHTS", digital manga, goes on sale.

January : "Terasawa Buichi digital manga Anatomy Lessons" (The Graphics Company) goes on sale.

January : New Series entitled "GUNDRAGON SIGMA"starts in Shueisha SUPER JUMP Magazine.

June: "Figures: COBRA WORLD", published by Epoch, released.

August : "GUNDRAGON SIGMA"(full-length book) released by Shueisha.
